RCR: Fortifying the Foundation of Research: Implementing a Toolkit for Post Publication Peer Review
About This Event
Presented by Rebekah Miller, MLIS, Health Sciences Library System (HSLS); Rachel Suppok, MLIS, HSLS; and Kelsey Cowles, MLIS, HSLS
Continuing our discussion from "Shaky Foundations: How Research Disintegrity Undermines Science" on March 17, this session will examine high-profile recent cases of research misconduct that have rocked several research fields, including Alzheimer’s and cancer. But how widespread is scientific misconduct really, and what can researchers do about it? In this two-part series, we will first cover the scope and implications of various types of research misconduct. Then we will practice implementing a toolkit for researchers to identify and respond to potentially problematic literature. (subject matter: research misconduct)
