About This Event

Presented by Rebekah Miller, MLIS, Health Sciences Library System (HSLS); Rachel Suppok, MLIS, HSLS; and Kelsey Cowles, MLIS, HSLS

In recent years, high-profile cases of research misconduct have rocked several research fields, including Alzheimer’s and cancer. But how widespread is scientific misconduct really, and what can researchers do about it? In this two-part series, we will first cover the scope and implications of various types of research misconduct. Then we will practice implementing a toolkit for researchers to identify and respond to potentially problematic literature. Join us for session 2, “Fortifying the Foundation of Research: Implementing a Toolkit for Post Publication Peer Review” on March 26 to continue the conversation.  Be sure to register for this session. (subject matter: research misconduct)
